About The Position

New York Health (NYH) is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient care at its Mt. Sinai location. NYH describes its approach as holistic and integrated, with multidisciplinary teams providing comprehensive, personalized care. The role involves assisting with patient intake, preparing therapy equipment and hot and cold therapy packs, transporting patients, observing therapy sessions, documenting patient responses and progress, and maintaining clean, organized treatment areas. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake.
• Prepare and organize therapy equipment.
• Prepare hot and cold therapy packs.
• Transport patients throughout the facility.
• Observe patients during therapy sessions.
• Document patient responses and progress.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
