About The Position
PTSMC is looking for a dedicated and dependable Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide to join their team in New Milford, CT. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in health and wellness, physical therapy, or exercise science to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The aide will assist physical therapists in delivering quality patient care and help maintain a clean and efficient clinic environment.
Requirements
- Must be available year-round with flexibility to work during clinic hours
Nice To Haves
- Background in exercise science or related field
- Previous experience as a physical therapy aide is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support clinical staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized therapy space
- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Observe patients during treatment sessions and communicate relevant feedback to the clinical team
- Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and common surfaces
- Monitor and restock supplies as needed
- Perform light physical tasks including standing, squatting, bending, and walking throughout the day
- Assist with front desk tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
