About The Position

SportsCare Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support its clinical team and help provide quality patient care. The aide works with physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and patients to assist with treatment and promote a positive, supportive clinic environment. The listed schedule is Monday 1–4, Tuesday 12–4, Wednesday 4–8, and Friday 7:30–11.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients as required.
Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to patients during therapy sessions, following the guidance of a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant.
Assist with exercises, equipment setup, and patient safety.
Prepare treatment areas and equipment, keeping them clean, organized, and ready for patient use.
Assist with patient education by explaining exercises, proper form, and treatment goals as directed by the clinical team.
Clean and sanitize treatment areas, exercise equipment, and therapy rooms.
Wash and fold linens, towels, and other materials; monitor and restock supplies as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including tracking and documenting progress and adherence to exercise programs.
Maintain therapy equipment and report issues to appropriate staff.
Communicate effectively with patients, physical therapists, and other team members to facilitate a smooth patient experience.
