Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
• Ultrasound and exercise physiology skills are essential for assisting therapists in delivering effective treatment plans.
• Patient care skills are utilized daily to ensure that patients feel comfortable and supported during their rehabilitation process.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records is critical for maintaining accurate patient information and facilitating smooth communication within the healthcare team.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and neuroscience enhances the aide's ability to understand treatment protocols and patient needs.
• Front desk skills are also important, as they enable the aide to manage patient interactions and administrative tasks efficiently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy or rehabilitation.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
