About The Position

PTSMC is seeking a dedicated and dependable Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide to join their award-winning team in Guilford, CT. This role offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting, assisting physical therapists with patient care and maintaining a clean, efficient clinic environment. The ideal candidate will have evening availability, specifically for the fall PM shift (12:00 PM–8:00 PM), and be available year-round with flexibility to work during clinic hours.

Nice To Haves

• Background in exercise science or related field
• Previous experience as a physical therapy aide is a plus
• Evening availability

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized therapy space
• Greet patients warmly and professionally
• Observe patients during treatment sessions and communicate relevant feedback to the clinical team
• Clean and sanitize treatment tables, equipment, and common surfaces
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed
• Perform light physical tasks including standing, squatting, bending, and walking throughout the day
• Assist with front desk tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
