About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our healthcare team. As a PT Aide, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to ensure excellent patient care and support therapeutic treatments.
Requirements
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and transfers
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team

Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness of therapy equipment
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities
- Monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Assist with patient transportation within the facility
- Provide administrative support to the therapy department
- Demonstrate proper use of therapeutic equipment to patients
