PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE
About The Position
Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is looking for a dependable, compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our well-established and growing physical therapy Practice based out of our Butler City office. Founded in 2005, TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, including physical, occupational and hand therapy services. Our therapy providers work closely with the physicians and rely on a strong clinical support team to assist with patient education, exercises, modalities, treatment, documentation and other related gym tasks.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable interacting with patients on a daily basis in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, move and assist with equipment and patients as required
- Organized with attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to travel to other offices if necessary
- Willingness to cross train for front desk operations
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient rehab experience
- Exercise Science or related field
- EMR experience
Responsibilities
- Assist the therapists in the treatment of patients
- Train and educate patients and/or family members in appropriate exercises and in activities of daily living
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment and supplies for therapy sessions
- Manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and efficient office environment
