Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- CPR certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient care, including setting up and preparing equipment.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapies under the supervision of a physical therapist.
- Monitor and record patients' progress during therapy sessions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy area.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and in working order.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families.
