About The Position

Prepares patients and equipment for therapy, assists therapist in administering treatments, and performs tasks to maintain the department.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent, required.
• Ability to perform all assigned tasks and follows written and verbal instructions
• Walking and standing for lengthy periods of time.
• Moderate lifting required (must have no physical limitations for lifting).

Nice To Haves

• One-year experience in hospital or nursing home is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for therapy, assists therapist in administering treatments, and performs tasks to maintain the department.
• Assists in administering treatments as instructed and supervised by therapist.
• Straightens treatment areas after each outpatient session.
• Keeps equipment clean, stored neatly and protective from damage.
• Checks supplies and notifies supervisors of any shortages.
• Transports patients to and from therapy, when necessary.
• Performs related duties, as required.
