About The Position

Join ATI Physical Therapy’s collaborative team as a Physical Therapy Aide, supporting patient care and recovery while gaining healthcare skills and direct exposure to physical therapy. Work alongside Physical and Occupational Therapy professionals. The position includes hands-on training and mentorship. The role supports patient check-in, intake and registration, clinical scheduling, treatment-area preparation, exercise assistance, and communication with the therapy team.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience, such as Physical Therapist Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, or PT and PTA student experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact warmly with patients by phone and in person during check-in and throughout appointments.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Onboard new patients by reviewing paperwork, verifying benefits, and completing medical forms.
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and set up and adjust exercise equipment for Physical Therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Assist patients with exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
