Physical Therapy Aide/Clerk, Full Time
About The Position
Burger Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Aide/Clerk for their Davis Clinic. This fast-paced role involves assisting clinicians with patient therapeutic exercise programs and covering the front desk when needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology or have completed anatomy and physiology courses. Burger Rehabilitation offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy, along with various specialty programs. The company, founded by Carol Burger PT, MPA, operates 12 outpatient clinics in the greater Sacramento region and has a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of patients, families, staff, and the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical background - Preferably Physical Therapy Aide Clerk Background
- Interest in Physical Therapy and making a positive difference every day!
- Loyal, dedicated, self-motivated team worker
- Excellent work ethics and attitude
- Extremely dependable and committed
- Report to work on time
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Very accurate data entry skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Experience in handling confidential information
- Excellent customer service and employee communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Exercise Physiology/Kinesiology background or, at minimum, has taken anatomy and physiology.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the treatment of patients under the supervision of a California Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist clinicians with patient therapeutic exercise programs.
- Cover the front desk when needed.
