About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring Physical Therapists (PTs) to provide one-on-one care to patients throughout Manhattan, NY. We currently have established caseloads on both the East Side and West Side of Manhattan, allowing clinicians to build an efficient schedule with minimal travel. Whether you're looking for a few flexible visits each week, a steady part-time caseload with W-2 benefits, or a full-time career with salary, W-2 per-visit, or 1099 contractor options, we offer multiple ways to build a role that fits your goals. Full-time Physical Therapists working under our 1099 tiered compensation model have the potential to earn up to $145,000 annually, based on visit volume. Treat one patient at a time, manage your availability, and provide individualized care without the double-booking, productivity quotas, and clinic burnout common in traditional outpatient settings.

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New York required.
Reliable transportation required.
Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy.
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall function.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team.
Coordinate with our administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
Manage your caseload based on your availability and employment structure.
