Physical Therapist- Outpatient Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
About The Position
Our client is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join their growing outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine team. With eight therapy clinics across the Jacksonville area and a strong physician referral network, our therapists are able to focus on delivering exceptional patient care—not marketing or administrative burdens. Whether you're a new graduate looking to build a strong orthopedic foundation or an experienced clinician seeking future leadership opportunities, you'll find a collaborative, physician-owned environment designed to support your professional growth. The patient population includes Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Post-operative rehabilitation, and General musculoskeletal conditions. There are no pelvic health or neuro caseloads. The clinics are fully staffed with 5-10 therapists per location, and offer a strong 2:1 support structure with realistic productivity expectations. The average patient volume is approximately 12 patients per day, with a target of 1.5 patients per hour.
Requirements
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Florida Physical Therapist license
- Passion for orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and sports medicine conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on restoring function and improving quality of life.
- Provide evidence-based manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and fellow rehabilitation professionals.
- Document patient progress and maintain compliance with state and payer requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on outstanding patient outcomes.
