About The Position

Are you an experienced Physical Therapist looking to practice in a spacious, modern facility where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' lives? Join the dedicated rehabilitation team at the STAR Clinic with BJC in South County! In this full-time role, you'll provide specialized patient care with a focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation and lymphedema treatment. Therapists who hold PWCS certification are eligible for Rehab Specialist role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• Board Cert in Area of Expertis
• Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise

• PWCS certification

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Provides assessment, consultations and/or treatment services based on clinical practice guidelines and department policies.
• Assists in planning, developing and managing processes and special projects to support staff development, care delivery and innovation.
