About The Position
Scheurer Health, a highly regarded critical access hospital, is seeking a full-time licensed Physical Therapist or a board eligible student to join our well-established Rehabilitation Team. The hospital’s Physical Therapy Department is exceptionally equipped to treat a variety of diagnoses and features: Great support team, One satellite clinic located in Sebewaing, Biodex Balance System, Swim-Ex pool for aquatic therapy patients.
Requirements
- Licensed physical therapists must have completed an accredited physical therapy education program
- Pass the required state licensure exam
- Board eligible students must have completed an accredited physical therapy education program and be eligible to take the state licensing exam.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities
- Assistance in restoring, maintaining, and promoting overall fitness and health within the organization and community is also encouraged
