About The Position
As a Physical Therapist, you’ll deliver exceptional care, educate and train families on essential exercises, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure every child receives comprehensive, high-quality care that will last a lifetime!
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited physical therapy education program
- PT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
- CPR Certification required within 90 days of hire
- Passionate about working with children with a variety of diagnoses
- Committed to learning the Westside Way, with a focus on hands-on manual manipulation skills
- Creative and innovative in developing effective treatment plans
- Dedicated to mentoring the next generation of PTs by providing guidance and supervision to fieldwork students
- Engaging and energetic, able to quickly build rapport
- Growth mindset, committed to continuous personal and professional development
- Collaborative spirit and enjoy working as part of a team, sharing knowledge freely
- Can support the following work schedule: Schedule: Monday through Friday 3 - 7 pm and Saturdays from 8 am - 2pm (Optional)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients (birth–18 years)
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve gross motor, self-care, and functional skills
- Support families with coaching and modeling to reinforce treatment goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate documentation
