About The Position

Valley Hospital Medical Center, located in the heart of Las Vegas, is an acute care and teaching hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Southern Nevada since 1972. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a university program satisfying the APTA academic and intern requirements for competence.
  • Nevada State Licensure of a Registered Physical Therapist (see note below).
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Nice To Haves

  • May work as a Graduate of Physical Therapy with recognition of the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners with on-site direct supervision

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of performance components affecting functional mobility and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum level of independence.
