About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to a medically complex patient population at its 24-bed Critical Care Hospital in Reno, Nevada. The hospital specializes in treating and helping patients recover from serious illnesses and injuries, including trauma, stroke, cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, complex wounds, amputations, and conditions requiring ventilator weaning. The role offers PRN scheduling with no minimum shift requirements. Inpatient hospital experience is preferred, but therapists eager to expand their clinical skills and learn in an acute care setting are also welcome. The Physical Therapist is responsible for patient and patient management and for the delivery, direction, and supervision of care. Care must be provided in an age-appropriate manner and in accordance with the applicable state's Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The therapist works in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience preferred.
Inpatient hospital experience preferred.
Willingness to expand clinical skills and learn in an acute care setting.
