About The Position

Schwab Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic full-time outpatient Physical Therapist to treat adult patients. New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome; prior outpatient experience may come from professional work or strong clinical affiliations.

Schwab Rehabilitation is a freestanding, not-for-profit, 102-licensed-bed facility in Chicago and a member of Sinai Chicago. It offers care ranging from acute care and inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient therapy for adults and children. The facility describes itself as the Midwest’s first fully licensed and accredited rehabilitation hospital. Its therapeutic environment includes seven large treatment gyms, multiple private treatment rooms, a warm-water indoor therapeutic pool, and an award-winning rooftop therapeutic garden. The interdisciplinary rehabilitation team includes physical, occupational, speech-language, and recreational therapists, including bilingual therapists and board-certified specialists, and takes a holistic approach to patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited school or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Illinois, or eligible for licensure under state guidelines.

• Prior outpatient experience, through professional work or strong clinical affiliations; new graduates are also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy to adult patients.
• Deliver individualized one-on-one treatment and care as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
