About The Position

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing the needs of patients and establishing treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. The physical therapist provides treatment, documents, and integrates their findings as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team approach. Requirements

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required.
Physical Therapist license required.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Physical agility to manage patients.
Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping.
Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a mental health population highly preferred.
Prefer knowledge of group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.
