About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Physical Therapist for Acute Care. This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week. The role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions. The Physical Therapist will also provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise identified team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher - Physical Therapy
- BLS
- VA License Physical Therapy
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
- Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
