About The Position
A facility near Tom's River, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team! This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a day shift schedule. The physical therapist evaluates patients with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex conditions to develop individualized treatment plans that improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. They provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions in an acute inpatient setting, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support safe mobility, discharge planning, and optimal patient outcomes. The role also involves documenting patient progress, educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and safety strategies, and recommending appropriate assistive devices and post-acute care needs.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Physical therapist license in the state of NJ
- CPR required upon hire
