About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a school-based position in Forest City, NC. You’ll support students' lives working in-person with students to support mobility, function, and participation at school.
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in North Carolina, or licensed in another state and willing to obtain NC licensure ASAP
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- School-based experience preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based evaluations, direct treatment, and progress monitoring for students (pediatric caseload)
- Write and maintain IEPs, therapy plans, progress notes, and required documentation
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary special education team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success
