Physical Therapist
About The Position
This Physical Therapist opportunity is for someone who wants a stable outpatient role with a strong orthopedic focus, a manageable patient volume, and a team that works together throughout the day. You will support patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, pain, mobility issues, and musculoskeletal conditions. The work is hands-on, practical, and centered on helping patients move better and return to their normal activities with more confidence. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and experienced Physical Therapists will have opportunities to continue developing their clinical skills.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Strong patient communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work well in a team-based clinic environment
Responsibilities
- Complete patient evaluations and identify movement, strength, pain, and function concerns
- Build treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and diagnosis
- Provide outpatient orthopedic care using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
- Treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical needs, pain conditions, and movement limitations
- Track progress and adjust care plans when clinically appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity modification, and safe movement
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans in WebPT
- Coordinate care with PTAs and other clinical team members
