About The Position
CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is hiring a part-time Physical Therapist at Seneca Trail Healthcare Center. Therapists are in-house team members who provide therapy to residents and make a direct impact on their care. There may be opportunities to work at multiple centers and serve a wide variety of patient needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid or pending state Physical Therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, review, and screen patients’ and residents’ medical charts and evaluations under physician order, and develop treatment plans in accordance with their needs.
- Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and education about the plan of care for team members, including providing necessary supervision for PTAs.
- Attend or lead interdisciplinary meetings to share clinical findings and make recommendations to other members of the rehabilitation team.
- Conduct staff and family training and education when appropriate.
