About The Position

The Physical Therapist supports the research and clinical services of the Biomechanics lab. The role includes evaluating instrumentation, developing protocols, assessing patients and normal subjects, collecting and analyzing data, and developing institutional systems and procedures. The position also supports project planning and coordination, grant development, and manuscript preparation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Hold a current license, or be able to obtain a license, to practice physical therapy in Minnesota.
• Advanced post-professional degree training.
• Five years of experience.
• Highly self-motivated, with an aptitude for research and comfort with high technology.
• Computer literate, detail-oriented, and mechanically apt.
• Demonstrated writing and presentation skills.
• Interest and skills in mentoring and teaching, team building and leading, and success working in an interdisciplinary setting.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a research setting, gait lab, or clinical practice with neuromuscular and pediatric patients.
