About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join an established outpatient pain-management practice in New Hyde Park, New York. This position offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one musculoskeletal care within a collaborative, physician-owned practice. The office includes physical therapy, acupuncture, and interventional pain-management services, creating a consistent internal referral base and a coordinated approach to patient care. The practice is adding a second Physical Therapist to divide the existing caseload and support continued growth. New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are both welcome to apply. This is a full-time position with a fixed weekday schedule: Monday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, Tuesday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. No weekends. Each shift includes a 30-minute break. Part-time and partial-day schedules are not currently available. The practice offers a collaborative, team-focused environment where clinicians are trusted to make treatment decisions based on each patient’s needs. Leadership remains involved in supporting operations and patient flow without micromanaging clinical care. The current team includes a Physical Therapist, a Physical Therapy aide, and two front-office team members. This new position offers significant room for professional growth as the Physical Therapy department and patient base continue to expand.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active New York Physical Therapist license.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a structured, high-volume outpatient environment.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care.

• New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are both welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal and pain-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other evidence-based treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the referring physician and other members of the care team.
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapy aide and front-office staff to maintain an organized patient flow.
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented clinical environment.
