About The Position
The Physical Therapist will assist the current Physical Therapist with outpatient and inpatient care in Cordova, Alaska. The position lasts four weeks, from November 30 to December 31. During the final two weeks of December, the successful candidate will provide primary PT coverage, including conducting new inpatient evaluations as necessary. Housing accommodations will be provided. The facility will be closed on December 25, and holiday coverage is not required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience in a variety of settings.
- BLS certification.
- Alaska state license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in swing bed or inpatient care.
- Rehabilitation certifications or training, such as ASHA, CHT, or ACP training.
Responsibilities
- Assist the current Physical Therapist with outpatient and inpatient care.
- Provide primary PT coverage during the last two weeks of December.
- Conduct new inpatient evaluations as necessary.
