Outpatient Physical Therapist- Rio Vista PT Clinic
About The Position
Rio Vista PT clinic is a busy orthopedic clinic that is seeking an experienced therapist with preference for manual therapy skills/ dry needling/ orthopedic skills and/or vestibular skills. The Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab) will develop individualized plans of care for patients, outlining the patients' goals and the expected outcomes of the plans. They will use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain, help them increase their mobility, prevent further pain or injury, and facilitate health and wellness. This role involves one-on-one patient care with no overlapping of patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Physical Therapy is required.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluates and re-evaluates referred patients ability to perform functional skills and plans a treatment program designed to meet identified goals.
- Initiates communication with physicians and other professionals to ensure coordination of treatment efforts.
- Contacts family members and outside agents.
- Maintains ongoing communication with immediate Supervisor, subordinates, and peers.
- Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment, and care is appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by Supervisor.
