Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania State License for physical therapy practice
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Profound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and health professionals.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients.
  • Create tailored care plans based on patient needs and objectives.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and appropriate modalities.
  • Educate patients on proper exercise techniques.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide a home exercise program when suitable.
