This is a full-time Physical Therapist position in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The caseload will be a mix of orthopedic and neuro/vestibular patients, with at least 25% of the caseload being neuro/vestibular. The position requires participation in an acute care weekend rotation approximately every 6 weeks at Aurora Medical Center - Washington County, and one holiday per year. Acute care shifts involve 2-3 patient care hours daily but are paid for a minimum of 4 hours, with an additional weekend/holiday premium. The role involves interpreting physician referrals, evaluating patients, establishing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring outcomes, and managing patient discharge. Documentation, insurance guideline application, maintaining a clean work area, and performing manual techniques are also key responsibilities. The therapist will utilize various modalities and exercise equipment, participate in performance improvement activities, manage their caseload, and pursue professional growth. Orientation of new staff and participation in coworker evaluations may also be requested. The role requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care.
