About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is actively seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to join their dynamic Transdisciplinary Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation team. This role involves a holistic and individualized approach to delivering expected outcomes for individuals with TBI, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, and other neurological diseases, helping them return home, to work, school, and the community. Experience with SCI, TBI, Stroke, and Post-Acute Neuro Rehabilitation is a plus.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
• One or more years of clinical experience with neuro rehabilitation or neuro transitional experience required.

Nice To Haves

• SCI, TBI, Stroke, and Post-Acute Neuro Rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies the plan of care in accordance with the patient’s needs and collaboration with the transdisciplinary team.
• Delivers therapy across multiple environments, modifying the structure and stimuli to maximize patient success.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient and enhancement of the Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation program.
