About The Position

The Physical Therapist examines and assesses patients, plans care, and performs physical therapy treatments. The role provides interventions to restore bodily functions and prevent disability following injury or disease. The Physical Therapist also delegates and monitors responsibilities assigned to support staff and students, participates in performance improvement activities and mandatory staff education programs, and ensures charge generation in accordance with business practice.

Responsibilities

• Examine and assess patients.
• Plan patient care.
• Perform physical therapy treatment to restore bodily functions and prevent disability following injury or disease.
• Delegate and monitor responsibilities assigned to support staff, including RCNAs, PTAs, and Rehab Aides, as well as students.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Participate in mandatory staff education programs.
• Ensure charge generation as prescribed by business practice.
