About The Position

Responsible for outstanding delivery of physical therapy services including evidence-based patient care and patient engagement while following company policies. The role involves performing clinic care and physical therapist duties in accordance with the clinic and patients' needs, promoting and utilizing appropriate patient care protocols for the patient population, and establishing physical therapy interventions based on evaluations, physician orders, and patient goals. The Physical Therapist will competently perform techniques and procedures, ensure continuity of care through communication with other healthcare professionals, make recommendations for patient care equipment, and document findings and progress within established time frames. Additionally, the role requires submitting patient billing daily, instructing patients/family members in home programs, demonstrating effective time management, and complying with quality improvement standards.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy.
  • Current physical therapy license in Arizona.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clinic care and physical therapist duties in accordance with the clinic and patients' needs.
  • Promotes and has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate patient care protocol relating to the physical, cognitive, neurological, psychosocial, and functional needs for ANR’s patient population.
  • Establishes physical therapy interventions based upon the evaluation and examination, physician orders, and patient’s goals for therapy.
  • Competently performs appropriate physical therapy techniques and procedures.
  • Provides for continuity of patient care through written and verbal communication with other health care professionals.
  • Makes recommendations for needed patient care equipment prior to patient discharge and assists with acquisition of same as appropriate.
  • Documents findings, patient progress, and all procedures performed within established time frames.
  • Submits all patient billing at the end of each day.
  • Instructs patients/family members in home programs.
  • Demonstrates effective time management.
  • Complies with quality improvement standards.
