About The Position

Full-time Physical Therapist role near Grand Rapids, MI. Short commute, flexible schedule, and meaningful patient care in a community hospital setting. Sheridan offers the best of both worlds: ~45 minutes from Grand Rapids, MI and ~60 minutes from Lansing, MI. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Michigan Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• CPR Certification
• The candidate must be a team player and flexible with scheduling
• Good communication skills required, both verbal and written form
• Organizational skills with an attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willing to help other department

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehab preferred
• One year of experience in short term Rehab and/or Outpatient Therapy is desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across multiple care settings
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional recovery
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans and home programs
• Document accurately in the electronic health record
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
