About The Position

Responsible and accountable for completing a physical therapy evaluation for each referred patient and creating and implementing a physical therapy care plan based on the evaluation. The goal is to restore a patient’s function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability. This is a safety-sensitive position in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.

Requirements

Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapy Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
Current Arkansas PT license in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; focus with attention to detail; solve problems and make decisions; show compassion to people experiencing pain or functional loss; and handle critical, highly stressful situations efficiently and composedly.
Ability to stand and walk; bend, stoop, twist, push, and pull; and occasionally lift up to 250 pounds for up to eight hours each day.
Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, with keen hearing and visual acuity, and good manual dexterity.
Ability to operate a computer keyboard and PC mouse and use computer software for patient-care documentation.

Nice To Haves

12 to 18 months of related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree.
Master’s or DPT degree.
