About The Position

Munger Physical Therapy is a family-owned outpatient orthopedic practice serving Fort Gratiot, Marysville, and Clinton Township. We are committed to delivering exceptional, hands-on care and are looking for a Physical Therapist who shares that passion. This role offers opportunities for growth, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Our mission is to serve the community and change lives through physical therapy, guiding every decision from patient treatment to therapist support. We offer individualized 1:1 care with no double booking, a collaborative team culture with PTs and PTAs supporting each other daily, a $1,200 annual continuing education allowance, mentorship for new graduates and growth pathways for experienced clinicians, and an outcome-driven practice focused on helping patients return to what they love. The position involves a full-time outpatient orthopedic caseload with 1:1 treatment sessions, using an evidence-based, hands-on approach in a supportive team environment with shared case discussions.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
  • Current Michigan Physical Therapist License (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience
  • Manual therapy experience
  • Interest or certification in McKenzie (MDT), Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, or other specialty areas
  • New graduates welcome - structured mentorship provided

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient orthopedic treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on, evidence-based care
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with PTAs and fellow therapists to ensure exceptional outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Support an outstanding patient experience from first visit through discharge
