About The Position

This is a full-time Physical Therapist position in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. The clinic focuses on treating 1.5 patients per hour, allowing for more in-depth patient care and the application of manual therapy techniques. The role involves working closely with on-site physicians and surgeons, developing individualized treatment plans, coaching patients and families, mentoring students and staff, and timely documentation in the EMR system. The clinic offers a steady caseload, state-of-the-art equipment, and a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

DPT (or equivalent) from an accredited PT program
Active Florida PT license — or eligible to obtain before start date
Outpatient ortho experience (or strong clinical rotations) preferred
Strong manual therapy skills and therapeutic exercise expertise
High-energy personality
Comfortable managing more than one patient at a time in a busy clinic

Responsibilities

Build and adjust individualized treatment plans rooted in solid clinical reasoning
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with physicians and surgeons on a unified plan of care
Coach patients and families on post-op protocols and home exercise programs
Mentor PT students and newer staff
Document cleanly and on time in our EMR
