The Physical Therapist contracted or employed through the agency is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for occupational therapy services and for adherence to all conditions outlined in agency policies and procedures. This role involves providing direct patient care, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The therapist will also be responsible for patient and family education, maintaining clinical records, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Supervision of therapy assistants and home health aides may also be required.
