About The Position

Join our dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to improving mobility and quality of life for our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team full-time. The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, providing comprehensive rehabilitative services to patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, and injuries. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and helping patients achieve their functional goals.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Florida Physical Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience in orthopedic or outpatient physical therapy settings.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and strategies to enhance recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed on advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate them into patient care as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to all clinic policies and procedures.
