About The Position

This modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Greenwood, MO provides physical therapy services for patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients range from 11 to 90 years old, creating a varied caseload that includes different activity levels, recovery goals, and functional needs. The clinic operates with a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants and uses WebPT for documentation. Weekly clinic volume is approximately 160–190 patient visits, with a daily patient volume of 7–15 patients per provider. The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment planning, skilled interventions, patient education, and progress monitoring. The purpose of this role is to help patients improve movement, manage physical limitations, build strength, reduce pain-related barriers, and return to daily activities with better function. This is a full-time role with flexible schedule options and competitive compensation based on experience.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient education skills
  • Ability to work professionally with patients across a wide age range

Nice To Haves

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments
  • Identify patient goals, functional limitations, pain levels, mobility deficits, and strength needs
  • Build individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance work, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on home exercise programs, activity progression, and safe movement habits
  • Monitor outcomes and update plans of care as needed
  • Document clinical care in WebPT
  • Work with PTAs and other clinical team members to support patient progress
