About The Position
Compass Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to provide in-person care to patients in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. The role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and quality of life through evaluations, treatments, and individualized care plans. The position is based in Encino and requires availability for 20 hours per week, scheduled as two 10-hour shifts. Compensation is $50–$55 per hour as a 1099 contractor.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted California Physical Therapist license.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation for in-person visits.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with geriatric, medically complex, or chronic-care patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and individualized care plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and quality of life.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with facility staff and the healthcare team.
