About The Position

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life. Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Requirements

Six month internship which is part of Physical Therapy School Entry Level Masters program or 1 year Internship which is part of DPT program
Two years experience and demonstrated leadership to act as area supervisor or weekend supervisor.
Physical Therapist: AR, upon hire
Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Responsibilities

Perform initial evaluations.

Perform evaluation/assessment using critical judgement and clinical decision making.
Accurately document and interpret findings from evaluation/assessment.
Coordinate objective test procedures, patient history and subjective information.
Understand the importance of physiologic and social information provided in the patient's record and its impact on treatment and expected outcomes.
Provide ongoing evaluation/assessment.
