In this role, you will provide high-quality, acute care for our patients. You will also have the chance to pursue opportunities to teach part-time in our renowned university programs and help us build on our elite reputation. This is an adult inpatient, per-diem position both weekday and weekend rotation at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia Campus and Allen Hospital. Minimum of 2 days (15 hours) per month, and 1 weekend shift per quarter. Ability to work full weekdays and/or weekend days will be considered. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 2 days/month and the weekend requirement.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current NYS PT licensure.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Adult acute care experience – 2 years' minimum.
  • Cardiopulmonary experience.
  • Orthopedic experience.
  • Neurological experience.
