As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize various exercises to increase strength, range of motion, endurance and coordination to relieve pain, avoid injury or regain function. This position requires close physical interaction with patients, offering numerous opportunities to truly connect with patients and build stronger relationships. Often, these patients are dealing with pain, so sensitivity is essential. Giving patients the drive and support they need to work hard and regain their health is equally important. This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work 2 weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) per month.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or certificate
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ conditions.
• Establish, revise and evaluate plans of care while involving the patient and/or their family.
• Perform therapy interventions.
• Supervise activities of Physical Therapy Assistants, students and other caregivers.
