Requirements

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.
Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or
Master's degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; or
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
Qualifying Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs.
Develop patient recovery plans.
Deliver physical therapy.
Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
Train patients and caregivers on skills needed to promote independence and productivity.
