About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent Potential opportunity for a Physical Therapist. This role is located at the Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center in Fort Meade, Virginia. The position involves diagnosing and managing movement dysfunction, enhancing physical and functional abilities, and restoring, maintaining, and promoting optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life related to neuromusculoskeletal health. The Physical Therapist will also focus on preventing the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities. A key aspect of the role is providing orthopedic clinical care for individuals aged 15–64, including active-duty service members, retirees, and their family members.

Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy
  • Valid and unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members
  • Knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records
