About The Position
Children's Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team and grow a caseload for their new location in Overland Park or Mission, Kansas. Established in 2002, Children's Therapy Services provides a range of therapeutic services to children and families in the Kansas City Metro area. They pride themselves on a highly educated and experienced team with diverse clinical backgrounds. Their mission is to maximize the potential of children by providing individualized, family-centered education and intervention services, emphasizing family participation in therapy. The role involves building a caseload with frequent referrals and offers flexible hours that are consistent weekly once established.
Requirements
- Licensed as a DPT or equivalent
- Good computer skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Pediatric experience
- Comfortable talking to parents
- KS license and MO license for teletherapy purposes

- Team leader who will take ownership of this position and be actively involved in its growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Conducting evaluations and individual therapy sessions
- Parent training on PT goals and progress
- Collaborate with Occupational and Speech Therapists to identify ways to improve patient outcomes
