Part Time-Physical Therapist-Pediatrics to evaluate and supervise PTA
About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a therapist who is passionate about working with children and looking for a flexible, meaningful opportunity. The Pediatric Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating children from infancy through adolescence with a range of physical conditions. This role also includes developing individualized treatment plans and providing clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), scheduled according to your availability.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Florida PT license in good standing
- Florida Medicaid provider number (or eligibility to apply)
- Experience working with pediatric populations with diverse physical disabilities
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of pediatric patients
- Create and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy to improve strength, mobility, coordination, and motor skills
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic activities
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, OTs, and physicians
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Stay informed on the latest pediatric physical therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
