About The Position

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers individualized treatment programs to support patients with various cognitive and physical disabilities in achieving their highest level of functional independence. Care delivery is guided by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) standards, ensuring age-appropriate and patient-centered treatment. All responsibilities are carried out in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
  • BLS is required
  • Must demonstrate a strong foundation in clinical skills, patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Hospital-based Rehabilitation, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Pediatric Rehabilitation, and other specialized areas is preferred.
